Megan Morgan has been in the Charleston event planning industry since 2004. Originally from Chelsea, Michigan, she attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York and graduated with a degree in English Literature. Megan was not interested in pursuing a career in teaching or writing so she looked to her love of restaurants for her next move.

An accelerated culinary program at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina was a perfect fit. The moment Megan entered Charleston she knew it was the right place for her. After Johnson & Wales Megan began working for Mediterra Catering at the Wickliffe House. Mediterra fostered her love of food combined with a new love for weddings and special events.

An opportunity to coordinate and plan weddings at Lowndes Grove Plantation led to a passion for helping couples and families with one of the biggest days in their lives. Luke Wilson Special Events took on Megan as an associate event planner in 2008. At the beginning of 2011 Megan was ready to open her own event planning company, Mingle.

Megan is happily married to her husband Richard, and they live with their dogs Rufus, Emma and Tessa.
